A native Ohioan, throughout the years, I received 3 advanced degrees in art from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Kent State University. I have worked in graphic design, love art and have especially enjoyed beautiful landscapes, seascapes and drawings. I have also dabbled in graphite, colored pencil and charcoal. I enjoy loose, painterly styles. I have also worked very tight and realistic in the past. I have sold commissions in the past and online. After a hiatus of several years, due to chronic pain issues and multiple surgeries, I have decided to pick up my artist tools again. My painting style can be described as experimental, painterly, loose, Impressionist-inspired and respectful of the beauty of nature. I layer my oils from to thin to thick, using mostly artist grade extra fine oils from companies like Winsor & Newton and a French company, Lefranc & Bourgeois. My artist supports are typically gessoed birch boards, hardboards, canvas panels and canvasses. Your original comes perfectly packaged with protective glassine covering the art, an acid-free bag and contains cushioning material to protect the art.
I have 2 stores:
This is my website solely devoted to my original art, prints and canvasses.

Description from Merchant:
My desire is to achieve beautiful paintings that will last. I avoid products like student grade oil paints.
My collection of artist grade oil paints was purchased from Jackson’s out of London in the UK, and the oils I use were manufactured in France by LeFranc & Bourgeois. I use high quality Gamsol, Winsor & Newton Liquin, Gamsol, various linseed oils, and professional grade gesso. I will never send out a painting on a warped support. These measures improve the longevity of your painting.
